Jack headed out of his place with his big German Shepard dog Dallas following close behind. Since moving to New York Jack seemed to walk the gentle giant every day. More than likely because he was up in the mornings and had nothing better to do with his time when school ended. Even if he was semi-popular his social life was at an all time low. He was soon beginning to think he really wasn't cut out for New York. This city was breaking him.
The main reason Jack was walking his dog today though was not because he was bored. He was hoping to see someone while at the park. If she even came. She seemed pretty mad at him the night before at the party. He still had no idea why, expert for the fact he stood up to her and told her that she was out of line. Oh and he did kind of leave her on the dance floor but she had been free to come along and he hadn't intended to piss her off or upset her in doing so.
Anyway. He headed down the sidewalk, the short walk to the main entrance of the large park. Dallas hadn't wanted to stop and tried to drag his owner into the park with all the other dogs but Jack had protested and made him sit and wait in the cold snow. Jack had wrapped himself up a little better than usual today. Snow, though Jack had never seen it in real life, meant cold to Jack, and to his dog. They were both very used to Sunny weather all year around. They were pure bread Sun worshipers. Jack wasn't much of a cold guy so he refused to ski or snowboard, until now. He was planning on joining his younger brother in Aspen for a Snow Boarding Trip. Well more than planning, he had his ticket and everything for tomorrow morning.

Krystina woke up that morning, wondering if she should go to Central Park. She had sort of given up on Jack and the whole situation, but she thought of how happy she had been while spending time with just him, and no one else. He made her feel happy, which was almost never, so just forgetting about him was sort of hard for her. She got out of bed, re-reading the text she'd gotten the other night. She got into a nice warm shower, washing her hair in her favourite Fakkai shampoo. Forty minutes later, Krystina dried off and got dressed. It was freezing outside, atleast to her since she wasnt quite used to negative degrees. She grabbed her warmest Uggs and warmest Burberry pea coat and headed out the door. Krystina pulled out her iPod, listening to her favourite band Coldplay. She stopped into Starbucks and got a latte. Walking briskly towards Central Park she breathed in the cold morning air wishing she were back home in Sydney surfing at the beach, which is exactly what she'd be doing right now since it was summer there. Walking right up behind Jack, and his huge dog, she smiled and touched his shoulder as she sat down beside him. "Bloody hell, its cold." She said, still smiling at him.

Jack hadn't been sat there long, freezing cold since he was used to Californian weather, sun sun and more sun. The cold was just another thing he hated about this city. He would much rather be back in LA where the sun was no doubtable shining. Or Texas even. When he felt a hand on his shoulder though his thick coat her turned to look over his shoulder his eyes following her as she sat down next to him and he couldn't help but smile seeing her. "Hey, you came" he said, slightly muffled from behind his scalf. He had never had to wear a scalf in his life. Well other than when he was 7 maybe in a christmas play. His eyes soon fell to her cup of coffee. He had passed a starbuck but he had the stupid dog so he couldn't go in no matter how much the smell of fresh warm coffee had enticed him. "Listen... I just wanted to say I'm sorry about the other night at the party" he said to her. He stopped himself saying what ever I did he still wasn't quite sure what he did, or what he was appologising for but he did all the same.

Krystina smiled. She sort of forgot why she was mad at Jack, because it wasnt like they were dating, but she had been blown off by so many people since being here, and the one guy she liked did it, too, which made her feel pretty low. She glanced away from Jack before she answered. "Well, I mean, its not like we're dating." She began. "I know you've got history, but its just I've had my run ins with the populars, and now with Sophia. I just thought we had something going, and then it just seemed like you blew me off." She gave him a slight smile looking back at him and sipping her coffee. "Sorry, I should have gotten you one." Krystina laughed. "Would you rather go talk there? Or were you planning on leaving soon, or something?" Krystina looked at him, hoping he wouldnt just jump right up and announce he had to go.

Jack sighed "I hadn't ment to, I was just appologising to her... " he said with a small shrug of his shoulders. He really hadn't meant to upset her, he just felt like he should have said something to Sophia, and he did think Krystina had been out of order. That was why he acted how he had with her the night before. "Oh, it's alright." he said. He would rather have one but he'd survive, even if he was a bit of a coffee adict he could still last an hour or two without his fix. "I would rather but there not so keen on big dogs like him... besides, I have to walk the dog... but you welcome to join me" he said to her. He knew if he didn't when he got back into the penthouse the dog wouldn't leave Jack alone.

Krystina laughed. She didnt mind dogs, but she'd way rather have a cat. "Well, okay." She said about walking him. "As long as its a short walk, I'm freezing my ass off!" Krystina laughed. Her hands were so cold, and she wondered if it was okay to grab his free hand, jsut so she stayed warm. But she didnt, because Krystina knew Jack didnt seem totally into her, and she didnt want ot make things weird. Besides, she was wearing gloves. "Well, I know I was pretty mean to Sophia. She didnt even do anything." She said explaining herself, "but that was why I apologized."

Jack nodded and stood since Dallas had begun nawing on his leash as if trying to get away so he could go for his walk already. Like Jack, he was very impacient. "Shall we?" he said in a very formal way but that chuckled a little. "I know... I hate snow" he said before he started to walk letting Dallas off his leash when they were a little further into the park, the normal place Jack let off the gentle giant who quickly ran off to inspect another dog not to far away. Not long after they started to walk he slipped his hand into hers "I'd much rather be out on the beach back in LA" he smirked. He too was freezing cold and wishing there wasn't infact snow all around them. Even if it was beautiful.

Krystina smiled while the got up from the bench and began to walk Dallas. She hated the snow so much, and she'd only been in New York for a few months. "I agree, snow is really stupid. I'd rather surf and lay at the beach all year then wear 5 layers of clothes and feel cold all day." Krystina smiled when he grabbed her hand, she felt suddenly warmed up. She didnt know where this was going with Jack, if they were going to ever be something, or just friends, but she did want to find out. "Jack," she said, stopping but still holding his hand, " do you want to start over, forget about what happened last night, and forget about your history, and mine? Because I wanna know if maybe we could ever be something." Krystina looked down at her feet, she was worried about his answer, just because she had been doing really random things these days, but she still wanted to know if he had any feelings for her.

Jack stopped to look at her a she as she spoke, in the eye at first before she looked down at the floor. Jack thought about his answer for a breif moment. Wow he was doing more reasonable thinking recently than ever before. He usually just did things on impuls not once thinking about the consiquesnces but now he actualy thought, and he thought reasonably. He took up her other hand and held hers in his between them. "I'd love nothing more" he said. He wanted to start over but most of the time it was hard to compleatly forget the past. "Maybe we'll even be more than just something" he said before he lent in and kissed her. This time he was pretty sure it was the right thing to do, he was serious about changing his old ways and he wanted to try the relationship thing but he, nor anyone else, would be able to tell how long this new Jack would last?

Krystina looked back up at him when he answered her the first time. She smiled a bit, thinking to herself that maybe it could work, and they could start all over again. Things had gone totally wrong after Alexis's party, and she wanted to make things right with Jack and with Sophia, and with Aspen coming up, she wanted to have a good vacation. Jack took both her hands and leaned in suddenly, though, and Krystina knew what was coming, but she felt good about it, and she wanted it, too. She leaned in closer to him too, grasping his hands and she let him kiss her. Afterwards she smiled and gave a little sigh, looking away from him. "Well, so far, you're a good kisser." She teased, continuing to walk.

Jack was glad she kissed back a smiled a little into the kiss. He was king of dissapointed when te kiss ended but he walked with her none the less, laughing a little at her teasing "Thanks.... your not to be yourself" he told her with a cute, dimply smile. "So, are you going to Aspen?" he asked, since everyone else was going he had decided to jump on the band wagon and go to Aspen to, he wasn't so sure about the skiing but he would go for the partying and try to ski but he doubted he'd be a fan. He glanced across the park to where his dog was and rolled his eyes a little before he looked back at Krystina.

She gave a sigh when Jack asked her if she was going to Aspen. "Yeah, unfortunatly." She looked up at Jack. "I'd rather go back home, or somewhere hot. And, like, everyone is going." She said annoyed, he probably knew the populars were the last people she wanted to see on vacation. "Are you goona go?" Krystina smiled at him, hoping he'd say yes. Even if Sophia ended up going, and maybe other girls he used to like, it didnt matter to her, she knew they'd still find time to hang out and get to know eachother even better. She looked down at Dallas and pet him, he was a huge dog, and Krystina had only ever had cats.

Jack nodded "Yeah, I pretty much being forced" he said with a small shrug of his shoulders "But I know what you meen, I'd much rather go back to LA for the winter or to Mexico than into more snow" he said honestly smiling as she fussed over Dallas who clearly loved the attention, any attention was good with him. Again like Jack he loved to be center of attention. "Oh, I never introduced you two... this is Dallas" he said remembering he hadn't told her his name. The dog trotted away and returned with a damp and half frozen stick dropping it infront of Jack before looking up at him, mouth open, tougn hung out and looking up in a hopeful way. Jack looked at the stick and pulled a face "pain in the arse" he mumbled but threw the stick for the gog none the less.

Krystina laughed, she really didnt mind dogs, but Dallas was huge. She preferred cats to almost every animal. "Well, he's cute atleast." She smiled to Jack. "I'd rather have a cat though, a lot easier to take care of." Krystina leaned down a little to pet Dallas. Her phone suddenly went off with a voice memo. She remembered she had voice lessons. "Hey Jack, I'm sorry but I have to acutally go now." She squeezed his hand and then let it go. "I have voice lessons. How about I see you tomorrow, in Aspen." She smiled up at him. Krystina bent down and pet Dallas again. "Maybe I'll see you too." She stood up again and kissed Jack on the cheek. "Just text me, and let me know where to meet." And with that, she hopped into the closest taxi and went straight to sing.
