Jack headed into central park, his slightly scuffed white sneakers dragging with each step the teen took. His hands slumped deep down into his denim jeans pockets, his fingers fiddling with his car keys. It wasn't exactly warm today, but it wasn't that cold either, just a little breezy for him, living California for the time he had made him more used to, lets say warmer climates. Ah well, he'd soon adapt to the colder weather of the city. Once he reached the stall he had organized to meet Charlotte his deep green eyes looked around for the brunet. He was dressed in a black jacket and white Ralph Lauren Polo underneath it. He wasn't exactly sure what they were going to talk about, or what they would do. From what he had seen, they did things a little different here than they did in Cali and Texas and England, and the many other places he had been dragged to in his lifetime. When he didn't see Charlotte his eyes went back in the direction he had came from, where he had left his car. His red ferrari, his pride and joy. Yeah, he loved that car, maybe even more than his last car, he was still undecided. He glanced at it one last time before taking another scope of the park, looking for his old flame Charlotte.

[/i]. Now, Char was not like that. She didn't just put herself out for every guy that came along, not that there were a lot of them, anyway. But this one. Jack. She had known him a few years ago. And he had been her first serious anything. Boyfriend, more specifically. First and only, to be exact. But... it hadn't lasted very long... he had moved away. Charlotte had been heartbroken, for she loved easily. Now her black ballet flats were trodding the paths of Central Park, heading to the spot they had decided on, when out of the blue, they had spotted eachother in the hallway. Charlotte had been frazzled, cluctching eight textbooks, and looking worn from a full day of school. She wanted to make a slightly better impression now, although after her hour in front of the mirror she had settled on something simple, a pair of dark-washed jeans, and a boho top she had bought recently. Her reddish-brown hair was left in it's natural state, soft curls falling over her shoulders, and her usual no-make-up policy was still in effect. She hadn't brought a jacket, and was now rather regretting that decision, for as the day wore on, it grew a bit chilly. She spotted him, near a bench. His brown mop peeking over the top of a black jacket. He was looking away from her, down a nearby path to the street. She was sure he had a car there. He always had loved his car. Charlotte came up behind him, a million feelings rushing through her. She was nervous, excited, happy, and feeling rather sick to her stomach all at once. Probably the nerves. "Hey, Jack," she managed after a moment's hesitation. [/size][/ul]

Jack pivoted 280 degrees when he heard his name spoke from behind knowing way to well who it was. He hadn't spoke to her in so long but still he could pick her voice out from any other girl. What he thought was more weird than the fact he remembered her voice was the familiar feeling in stomach when he did hear it. That same warm feeling as the last time they met, other than the time in school.
The thing was, Jack was a very different guy these days. Back then he had actually been a pretty nice guy. Well, a really nice guy. Since then he'd become a womanizing jerk. Well most of the time, though, he did have his sweet moments. He was still a player. So much Charlotte had been maybe his only real relationship, and by far the longest since it was when him and her went their separate way he turned into such a man whore.
So, where were we? Jack turned to face Charlotte stood behind him and his eyes did and once over instinctively though not completely obviously. "Hey" he smiled a cute and slight goofy smile once his eyes came up and met hers, surprisingly, it wasn't an awkward eye meeting either. Maybe this wasn't going to be as bad as he thought it would. "You look great" he complemented, he had to confess she did look pretty amazing, even if it was just casual wear she looked good, maybe even better than when they went out. Thats when he thought, what were they going to do now? Like, where would they go and what would they say? Ah, he'd think of something, right? Or so he hoped.

Krystina woke up the next morning, hearing her noisy alarm. She slowly crawled out of bed, having a little bit of a hangover from the night before. She had met the nicest girl so far, named Sophia. She was tons of fun and Krystina decided it wouldnt hurt to see if they could be good friends. Sophia told her to meet at the park at 11ish. So Krystina took a taxi home from Club 21 and dropped right into bed, setting her alarm for 9:30. "Eleven is a tad bit to early for me." Krystina thought to herself. She hated getting up early since living in Australia her whole life, she was born a bit lazy, and the whole continent never really got up on time. She hopped into the shower, humming to herself. After 40 minutes she decided to get out. Her hair smelled of Fakkai shampoo, her favourite. All dried and ready to go, she couldnt help but think of Jack, whom she had been talking with at school the last week. He was the sweetest guy she'd met, and Krystina hoped maybe something might happen. But she had other things on her mind, too .. like what to wear? She grabbed her favourite Burberry wool pea coat (it wasnt that warm outside!), a knit Chanel sweater, and paired them with her GUESS skinnies. She ran down her flight of stairs, put on her black leather pumps and hailed a taxi. "Central Park, please." She told him. "Oh, could you turn up the heat a little? Thanks." After she paid the taxi driver, she hopped out the door, ran to Starbucks to get her latte and headed over to a small park bench to wait for Sophia. Little did she know that her new flame, Jack Robinson was just over the other side of the park with an unknown someone, whom Krystina probably wouldnt like if she knew, Charlotte Davies. (OOC: Sry to intrude!! But I think it makes it better if I join into this thread instead of making another one .. since I want to have some interaction between everyone!)

Sam smiled. He loved his walks down Central Park. Although it was November, and he was almost freezing his ass off, he never declined a time where he might bump into a gorgeous girl. He walked slowly over some frozen grass, making sure he didnt ruin his shoes. He sipped his coffee, it was hot, but it warmed him up and made him feel a bit better. He serveyed all the people. Some running with their dogs, whom Sam thought must be out of their minds, why not go to a friggen gym .. that is indoors? Some younger girls, huddled, gossiping about something, who looked over at Sam as he walked by. He laughed, even though he knew he was amazing looking, he couldnt help himself but have a little fun. "Hey ladies." He smiled at them, giving them a wink. They all giggled and didnt say anything back. Sam continued on his way drinking his coffee. Thats when he noticed a girl whom he had seen before. She was sitting alone, on a bench drinking some Starbucks drink. She was very good looking, Sam thought, and he couldnt quite remember where he'd seen her from. Suddenly she turned around and he rememberd. She was the girl who ran out of homeroom crying the last week. And she was the girl who Jack Robinson had asked to go out for coffee with. Now Sam didnt gossip much, but he loved hearing about it. It was funny, the things that people did and how fast it got around. He decided not to talk to her, which was odd for him since he rarely passed up a time to talk to a beautiful girl. But he assumed the popular girls didnt like her, since she had ran out on them crying. He wasnt going to go behind their backs and flirt it up with the girl they hated. And plus, Jack had already gotten to her. Not that he didnt like the challege though. But speak of the devil, there, on the other side was Jack Robinson with that cutie junoir, Charlotte Davies. Sam sat down on a bench to see if anything would happen. He was waiting for some drama to unfold.

Jack watched her for a short while as she started at him, as if taking in every tiny detail. He didn't think he had changed much since then. Well, not in looks anyway. He had grown taller and a little more muscled. But he hadn’t noticed anything else. But you never really do when it comes to yourself.
Though she had changed, not by that much, but Jack could point most of the differences out. She seemed more serious than all those years ago, and she looked older in her face, though, she had always looked older than she really was to him. As he looked back into her eyes he started to think back to when they had been boyfriend and girlfriend. Just the thought made him smile widen just slightly. Things seemed so perfect then. Probably because they had been. When he was with her it was like there wasn't a trouble in the world.
He kind of went off into a daydream for a few seconds, well more of a flashback than a daydream, but he soon snapped out of it when she spoke again. That was when he looked just past her and noticed Sam from the corner of his eyes and his deep hazel eyes followed the guy until he saw another familiar face; Krystina. But he quickly looked away from her again, back at Charlotte, not wanted to attract attention. Or for Charlotte to see he was looking.
The other day when he met Krystina he had been thinking something could and was going to happen between them. Now he had met up with Charlotte he really wasn’t sure about it. He hadn’t thought he’d feel this way when he saw Charlotte again.
When he was back looking at Charlotte, into her soft sweet eyes, he spoke snapping out of his thoughts once more. ”I know, too long” he said, surprisingly honestly. ”I’ve been alright, how about you?” he asked her. This time he wasn’t quiet as honest. Things since he left her had gone terribly wrong. Mainly the fact that he almost died then got arrested. Other than that it had been ok. But some would find it kind of hard to look past that.
He had no idea where they were going to go now, he still wasn’t sure where things where here in New York or even what was here. All he knew was that central park had a zoo. And even that he only knew because he had seen it in a movie, or at least he thought. It just seemed safer to ask her where she might want to go. ”So, where should we go then? I haven’t quite got my baring around here yet” he said shrugging his shoulders a little though his hands didn’t leave his pockets.

Krystina started to get really cold. She didnt feel like waiting any longer for Sophia to come. But she had already gotten ready and was out and about. She thought it might be good to go shopping or look around some more. Jack and her planned on going out sometime on the weekend, and Krystina thought it would be fun to get something new to wear. She decided to walk across the park - opposite the way she came. She kept seeing people running, and couples staying close to one another to stay warm. She looked over at a park bench and thought she saw someone familiar. Krystina wasnt someone to stare, so she slowly walked by and realized it was Jack - with another girl. She didnt panic, or come to conclusions, but would it hurt to go over and say hi? Or was she his girlfriend? Or perhaps sister, cousin? She didnt know, so she thought it would be okay to go say hi. Maybe introduce herself. She walked over briskly, picking up her pace since it was quite chilly and she wasnt used to this kind of cold. Once she was a few steps way she spoke. "Hey Jack." She smiled at him, noticing he looked cold, too. "Hows it going?" Glacing over at the other girl, she gave her a little smile. "I'm Krystina."
