Jon wandered in and out of Manhattan, not too sure of where he was going. That was the main minus when you had just moved here from somewhere. Oh well, if the youth had had his way, he would be back in Pittsburgh right now. But that didn't look like that was going to happen any time soon, now does it? So Jon just decided to make the best of the situation.
Jon looked around, suddenly stunned by what he was seeing. Was that grass? He smiled softly as he realized where he had ended up. Central Park. His feet stepped into the grass in a field he had happened across. He hadn't found a decent hockey arena yet, but it was only Jon's second day here. Best not rush things too fast. His knees bent and he ended up sitting on the grass. Shockingly, it hadn't snowed yet, but the ground was still hard and cold. He glanced around, appearing to look for someone. But it was no use. It wasn't like he knew anyone.

Jack Robinson had got bored of lumbering around his Penthouse all day and decided to go out for a walk. Yes that's right Jack Robinson was going for a random strole around the city. He'd been here for around a month and he still wasn't quite sure when it came to direction so a walk seemed like a good idea. When he went to walk out the door his large Alsation dog barked and sat looking up at his owner with his huge brown eyes. "Whats that look for?" Jack said with a small frown and the dog barked again before he dissapeared into the kitchen. "Weird dog" Jack thought aloud and went to walk out when the dog trotted back in carrying his leash dropping it at Jack's feet.
Jack sighed and clipped it onto the dog collor "Fine... It's not like I have anything else to do is it Dallas" he said before he walked out with the dog and headed out onto the street. If someone from school had heard him talking to his dog no doubt they would have teased him but he didn't really care. He walked out of the warmth of the hotel building into the cold street and a shoved sprinted down his spine. He even concidered giving the stupid walk a miss. He just wasn't made for cold climates. He paused once outside first concidering whether to go back in. Then he tried to remember what way it was to Central Park. He had no idea so he just went on instinct and took a right zipping up his navy colored coat. He soon found the place he was looking for and walked in, to his suprise he saw Jon, someone he'd spoke to around school a few times. Okay once but still. He wasn't sure whether to go over though. He decided against it but walked past slowly just incase Jon did want to talk.

Jon sighed. He wanted to go back to Pittsburgh. But that wasnt happening. He sighed and glanced up as a motion in the corner of his eye attracted his attention. He looked up to see a boy and his dog. Upon further inspection, he noticed that it was a boy he had talked to before. Exactly once. His name was... Jeff? No.. Jack? Yes, that was it, Jack. He smiled up at the other boy before getting to his feet. Hey, Jack. Whats up? He spoke. His eyes traveled down to the dog. Your dog I presume? It was then and only then he felt bad about not taking Jester out on the walk with him. The border collie could have used the exercise. His gaze returned to Jack as he was still not sure how to continue the conversation.

Jack smiled to the guy and stopped Dallas walk, with a little bit of a strugged since something had caught the dogs eye and he was eager to go in another direction but after a little fussing he stopped and sat at Jack's side as if in a mood by the way he slumped down. Like Jack said before, weird dog. "Hey, Yeah this is Dallas" he said while he tried to remeber Jon's name. It defernatly began with J. That he remembered. Then again, how many guys names were there that began with J? Jo, Jerry, Johnny? Jon... that was it. Now that was out of the way he needed to think of something more to say. Nada. Why did keep happening? "What are you doing here?" he asked, it was the first thing to mind since he was curios to why he would be here. He had no dog and wasn't with a girl. They were the only two reasons Jack could think of for being here.

The dark haired youth's eyes followed the dog's struggle for a moment before the dog obeyed Jack. The dog was introduced as Dallas and Jon smiled down at the dog before turning to Jack. Dallas was a good name for a dog. Jester had gotten his name, well, because he was a court jester... The border collie would do anything for attention. And you never wanted to even show Jester a camera. The dog defined the term camera whore.
Jon grinned at the thought of his dog before his attention was diverted back to Jack. He pondered the question for a moment before he responded. Well, this is going to sound stupid.. but I just wanted to see grass He shrugged slightly and gazed at Jack. The other boy probably thought Jon was nuts by now.

Jack glanced down at Dallas as the dog yawned as if saying he was bored. Well thats how Jack read it and rolled his eyes a little at him. Dallas was just a random name him and his brother picked when they were younger, Jack had been 11 when they got Dallas a a puppy and Dallas had been where they were living at that time so it was a pretty good name.
Jack frowned a little at Jon but still had a smirk on his lips "Right... Where did you say your from again?" he asked woundering why seeing grass would be something Jon wanted to do. He had wanted to see snow since he headn't ever seen it before. He's always lived in hot places, exept england but they never got snow either.

Jon watched as the dog yawned. Poor puppy, it was probably bored coming to the park and just standing around. Jon smiled slightly and turned to Jack as he spoke. Pittsburgh. And I want to go back. Jon had a slight faraway look in his eyes. He missed Pittsburgh, more than he could say. He shook his head slightly and looked back at Jack. What about you? Have you lived in New York you're whole life? ooc- gah. sorry it sucks
