It usually never happened to Talia. Getting a crush. She'd get one, and lose it the next day. Talia wouild convince herself bad things about the guy. He had a big nose. He's a fake. He is stupid etc. But this one hit her like a big yellow school bus, Talia knew that every other girl at Constance Billiard had a crush on Sam Newhouse... and he's probably dated all of them. She could remember what Alexis had whispered to her, the first time they met in (Courtousy of Jess Leopold). "Your both betas, you both dress well and are hot. Go for it!" Talia trusted Alexis opinion practically all the time, but she couldn't help think that she liked him to. "Impossible Talia, she loves Jess..." Talia murmered to herself. Suddenly, frantic vibrating unleashed from Talia's newly purchased T-Mobile Sidekick. Practically every person at Constance Billiard had one... but there's wasn't covered with real diamonds was it?
eh tal, its sam. long time no talk. wanna hang out later? let me know.
"Bloody bastard..." she murmered again. It was a coincidence that he texted her, once she was thinking about him. But it was too good to be true. Talia quickly typed in a message for Sam, to meet him at the park. She read it over and over again, attempting to spot imperfections. Practically perfect. Waiting fifteen minutes before sending it, Talia remembered what Julianna (Miss-Pro-Flirt) had taught her. "Always wait fifteen minutes, leave them waiting." Of course, Talia tried to blank it out of her system that she needed flirting advice but couldn't help smile that her friends were there for her. Finally, she sent it. All she had to do now, was wait.

Sam couldnt help but smile. He knew he was most of the time irresistable to girls, but he really just wanted to see Talia. He waited after he sent her text, and since he'd had many encounters with girls he knew it might be a while till she sent something back. He didnt mind though, Sam decided he'd play his PS2. His penthouse was full of the best entertainment systems you could find, so when he wasnt with girls or partying, he was enjoying what his parents bought him. Suddenly his palm pilot went off with the sound of a text message. Talia, of course, agreed and Sam smiled to himself again. He wasnt usually excited to hang out with a girl, especially one he'd known for a long time, but for some reason, coming back to Constance, and it being senior year, he wanted something different. And Talia caught his eye. Sam was already dressed and ready to go, but he waited assuming Talia would take a bit to get ready. He thought he should let her know he'd meet her in an hour .. if that was enough time for Ms. Emmert to beautify herself. But Sam wasnt much into girls taking hours to look as good as they would if they just put on some mascara and lip gloss. He wanted the girl, not her wardrobe or makeup.
"sounds good. meet me at central park in an hour."
Sam sent it and decided he'd head out early, maybe they'd go out for dinner later, so he thought he'd stop by a resturant, make a reservation perhaps? He walked down his steps out into the cold. Since Sam already lived in Fifth Ave. he didnt really need a taxi to take him to amazing resturants. The first one he saw that looked like Tal might approve he made reservations for 8 pm. Even though it was cold, Sam wasnt really thinking about that. He was thinking about Talia and how they hadnt really spent time alone together. He wondered if she'd be nervous, or if it would be like old friends. Of course Sam had always thought she was gorgeous, and perfect, and plenty of other things, but he had never persued her like he was now, and he hoped things would just get better. He walked slowly to a park bench and waited for her, it had already been almost an hour, so Sam decided he'd just check out the new Gossip Girl page. Maybe he'd be on it ...

Here we go again Talia thought, standing in her closet. If one of the girls had agreed to meet her, she would've slipped on her Juicy sweats and ran. Simple as that. But this was a boy she was meeting, Sam Newhouse infact. It wasn't that she'd never had a crush on a boy before, Talia never had a big crush on a guy before. After a few minutes, Talia decided what she'd wear. Talia slipped on a pair of grey skinny jeans, white cashmere tanktop with a turqoise cashmere low scoop sweater. Running out of her house, Talia slid on a layer of red MAC tinted lip glass and walked to Central Park.
"Guess you're waiting for me? Hmm..." Talia planted her hands on her hips with a devious grin, before sitting beside him on the bench. Talia's mascara coated eyes scanned the park, looking for people who may be watching them. Sam and Talia could've possibly made Gossip Girl headlines if they weren't carefull.

Sam's stomach lurched when he heard her voice. He was suprised at himself because he seldom was caught off guard when a girl spoke to him. "There you are." He said to her as she sat down beside him. He could smell her delicious hair and looked at her sexy outfit. But Sam was careful not to push it too far. He wasnt completely sure if she'd like him back. And since he didnt want to ruin things, taking it slow was the best option. "I made reservations tonight for dinner, if you want to go." He smiled at her as calmly as he could. He wanted to wait for her to reply before they started talking. Knowing Talia, she would probably want to speak her mind and he didnt want to force her to do anything.

Talia looked down at her black ankle boots and sighed. She never really liked going on dates. Talia enjoyed just hanging out in their house or somewhere and following where things took them. Then again though, she didn't want to upset Sam. But still, Sam owned the label 'Girl Player' around school and was probably used to it. Even though she liked him, Talia was still allowed to speak her mind... right? "Tell you what... skip the dinner, lets just go to your house and chat. We haven't done that in a while." She'd never really had a heart-to-heart with a guy in a while. Stupid. Talia lifted her hair and dropped it on her left shoulder, the smell of her herabl shampoo practically woke her up.

Sam sighed to himself. He was sort of glad Talia wanted to go back to his place instead of some fancy dinner. And that was why he made sure he asked if she wanted to go instead of just taking her. Maybe that was why he was good with the girls. "That sounds better. How bout I get us a taxi and we head there now?" Sam held out his hand for Talia to grab it. Of course she'd grab it. Why wouldnt she? Sam began to wonder if she would .. which was odd, he never wondered when it came to girls. But Talia was different, and she got to him. Maybe he would be different with her now. "Come on, lets go." He smiled, waiting for her hand.

Talia slipped her hand in his with a nervous giggle. She may of liked him, and he may of liked her. But they were still just 'Close friends' unless someone broke the ice. Knowing Talia... it would've probably of been her. Walking towards a taxi, Talia let herself in along with Sam and ordered the driver to go to his house.
You could say that Talia knew her New York City very well. When you lived there for most of your life, people knew you quite well too. Since Constance Billiard as a very big school, people knew the Popular Group as if they were celebrities without being famous. Stepping out of the taxi, Talia passed a crisp bill to the driver and pulled Sam out with her. "I haven't seen your penthouse in ages."

Sam sighed in relief once she grabbed his hand. It was strange for him to be like this, but maybe he was changing his ways. They headed towards a taxi, and Talia told the driver where to go and even paid for them. It wasnt like a ' real ' date where Sam would ahve to pay, he knew exactly what to do when it came to something liek that. "Yeah, I know. It's been a long time." He smiled over at her as they walked out onto the street by his house. He walked up to the security pin number and typed it in. "There we go." He said, still holding her hand. "I hope the maids been here." They walked up the stairs and Sam opened his door. He was right, the maid had been there. Everything was just perfect, the way he was used to it. Sam let go of her hand, walked over to the couch and turned on the TV. "So, what do you wanna do Tal? Watch some TV? Go in the hottub? It's up to you." He said smiling up at her. She was gorgeous he kept thinking, but he reminded himself to take it slow, otherwise things might be weird. ( OOC: I think we should make another thread in Sam's Penthouse, I'll go do that and we can continue this there! )
